MY BIO

Scarlet Canevari
Endless traveler, novelist, and freelance journalist for nearly thirty years. For the past eleven, I’ve been a devoted student of yoga—a beautiful life philosophy—and I’ve been teaching it for five.
🌿 Activism, Awareness, and Stories that Matters
I’ve always been passionate about women’s rights, and I use my novels as a way to explore important social issues—always with a light and often ironic touch. I truly believe in the power of personal responsibility and the transformation that comes with self-awareness.
I’m drawn to anything that helps people tap into their own potential—a journey I’ve been on myself, especially through yoga. Along the way, I’ve had the honor of learning from some incredible mentors. This journey of growth led me to meet extraordinary mentors who lit up my path and finally allowed me to meet the wise and compassionate teacher that resides within me.
💆♀️ The Power of Myofascial Release
After years of practicing more dynamic forms of movement, an injury turned my world upside down—but also opened a new door.
Through pain, I discovered the magic of the fascial system—our body’s most powerful sensory organ—and with it, the innate ability we all have to heal, physically and emotionally.
That experience sparked a deep dive into fascia meridians and release techniques, which I’ve studied both in Italy and abroad. For the past two years, I’ve been teaching and practicing Myofascial Release—a form of deep self-massage using simple tools like tennis balls, foam rollers, or just your hands. My method is based on the work of Tom Myers and his fascia lines system.
